From basic to the state-of-the-art Digital 550 controller, Detroit Diesel Spectrum provides superior control as well as monitoring and diagnostics of both the generator and engine. The new Detroit Diesel Spectrum Digital 550 provides unprecedented capability for flexible, comprehensive control of generator sets for critical applications. A bright alphanumeric display and large keypad highlight an intuitive control panel used to monitor and program the controller. High accuracy voltage regulator .25% build-in digital voltage regulator offers precise control. Smarter Control More alternator and engine performance data helps the operator understand how the system is functioning. For ECM equipped engines, data is read serially directly from the ECM.
